Ring Tonize Your Cell Phones
Let me start with a question here, do you have a Multi Giga Hard Drive with 50 of most popular cell phones has single, small, low quality speaker enough to play simple tones so its necessary to do some editing before using it on the phone.
Now, in order to get noise-free ringtone we have to cut down some bands of frequencies without this having a loud, noisy sound that can be annoying rather than nice when played on cellular speaker.
Please note the editing procedure we will describe below depends on two main things:- 1st The type of your Song/Music file.
Click the mouse right button then select properties from the menu, look for file type there. If your file is MP3 the lets get started "if it's other than mp3 like wav, acc or something else then we will talk about it later" 2nd Your Cellphone,If it's Sony Ericsson then you don't have to cut frequencies because literally Sony Ericsson cellphones have a great stereo speakers that can play any mp3 files with all high & low band frequencies. ( i.e. if your cell phone is Sony Ericsson then you will hear it on your phone just like the way you hear it on your PC after you finish). Now, lets assume we have an MP3 file and a Non-Sony phone then first download a free software from the internet to edit mp3 files, here are some like references: 1. www.mystikmedia.com/download/setup_blazemp.exe
2. Mp3 - wav Editor -
Also You can find ringtones in download-melodies.com where you can download free ringtones.
I personally used Cool Edit and Sound Forge which are little bit professional programs but almost half of these software use similar themes, we will explain here how-to edit frequencies and build a high quality free ringtones.
Once you get the mp3 editor software installed and working, drag in the first song on your list.
Editing Procedure as follows:
1. Click on the Play button and start playing the song till you reach the part where you ringtone should start.
2. Using the mouse cursor, click & drag till your reach the ending part. "it will be selected and shaded in different color"
3. Play the selected part and refine your selection till you reach the best part.
4. Replay it again just to be 100% sure and its perfect for a ringtone.
5. Now move the mouse cursor over the selected shaded area then click trim or crop. What will happen basically is all other unselected part of the song will erase and the only selected part will stay there.
6. Now the most important thing to do is to save the new file by selecting Save As and give a new name to the file (like myringtone1.mp3).
7. Be careful here not to over write over the original song, again you have to do SAVE AS and choose a new name in order to save the ringtone in another file not over the original song otherwise you will lose the song forever.
8. Now after you saved your ringtone on a new file called myringtone1.mp3 you can freely edit this ringtone without affecting the original song.
9. Now, limiting frequencies is what we need to do, so try to find something called equalizer or graphical equalizer within the software you're using in order cut down some high and low unwanted frequencies.
10. Below I'll show you a table of each frequency range & it's level of volume Reduction of Gain in db (decibel)
Frequency range Hz Volume Level in db
20 - 80 Hz From -25 to -20 db |
80 - 160 Hz From -20 to -6 db |
160 - 350 Hz From -6 to 2 db |
350 - 500 Hz From 2 to 3 db |
500 - 2K Hz Keep it on 3 db |
2K - 5.4K Hz From 3 to 2.5 db |
5.4K - 10K Hz From 2.5 to -3 db |
10K -15K Hz From -3 to -20 db |
15K - 20K Hz From -20 to -25 db |
Cut down and boost frequency range as per the above table i.e. giving it a volume reduction and volume gain according to the db level given above. That could be done using a normal equalizer or graphical equalizer in any editor software.
Note that we're giving a high boost on the center frequencies where the vocalist sounds are centered and thus vocal sound will be more obvious when played as a ringtone.
11. Now once you're done with frequencies, play your work and try to edit volume levels till you reach the exact level you want then save the new file in a new folder lets call it [ringtones ready to upload].
Side Note: if your cell phone is Sony Ericsson then jump to STEP No. 3 below to upload to your phone. Or try to find out some work here and Download Ringtones for Cell Phone on this site.
Step No. 3 uploading to your cell phone.
The step is to be continued Soon, mean while you may start to making your own ringtones. I hope this part of the guide is helpful so far and I would appreciate to have your comments.

Using Your Dell 1800MP Projector in Your Home Theatre
1. The 1800MP comes equipped with vertical keystone correction. This means that if you need to point the projector up or down you can fix the keystone effect. However, it does not come equipped with horizontal keystone correction. In order to get a square picture you need to make sure that you projector is centered with your screen. Otherwise, one side of your picture will be higher than the other.
2. You will notice that the Dell 1800MP does not come with either an HDMI or a DVI port. I was able to hook the projector up to my media center PC using a VGA cable and it looks great. However, the picture over the S-Video didn't look nearly as crisp. If you want a great looking picture consider getting a cable that converts component video into VGA.
3. The Dell 1800MP does not have very many options for zooming in or adjusting your picture size. This means that you will have to place your projector the correct distance from the screen in order to get the picture to be the right size for your screen. For my 106" diagonal 16:9 HDTV format screen I had to place the screen approximately 16' away from the wall. Before I mounted the projector on the ceiling, I simply held it up until I found the right spot where the projector would fill the entire screen.
4. A lot of places will charge you an arm and a leg for a mounting bracket. However, you should be able to pick up a reasonable bracket at an unnamed online auction site for about $30 including shipping. The one that I got has the ability to swivel the projector so that it can be pointed down or to the side slightly. This came in really handy when I was trying to get the projector image set up with my screen.
5. The menus for the dell 1800MP have a bunch of useful options in them that you will need. There is a setting that will flip the image so that your projector can be mounted upside down on the ceiling. There is also a setting that will change the aspect ratio of the projected image to 16:9 if you are going to use a widescreen display area. You can use these settings along with the contrast, color and brightness controls to fine tune the picture until you are happy with the picture. When your room is really dark you will see black bars above and below your screen since the 1800MP is not a widescreen projector by design. This isn't really a big deal but I thought I would mention it.
I am the first one to admit that the Dell 1800MP isn't as good as the 1080p high definition projector that I was looking at buying. However, since the Dell was only about $600 and I already had it, I think it is a pretty good option. Plus, it works great with my Media Center.
How Do you Watch Satellite TV Shows With a Home Pc
The next natural step is to revamp this technology to the Computer System. Available are many of internet video web sites, be that as it may not any compete the HD quality that you produce from your satellite broadcast equipment. be that as it may you do have a handful of choices that will show you how to view programs with your computer
The first option that will show you how to view programs with your computer is a component peripheral commonly known as a PCTV card. There are countless brands and setups of satellite TV components, numerous obtainable at your friendly familiar PC department stores. Select the TV card that is compatible for your Windows Machine. I like a USB type satellite TV component, (or any TV component, for that matter) primarily because my work machine is a notebook for which there is no space to add a PCI or AGP satellite TV component. Plus be cautious because the new PCI cards are not designed to function with the older PCI ports.
If you have regular PC, then by all means, if you have capacity plus you do not mind messing with with your tower, purchase an internal satellite TV card.
The second option involves installing a piece of Windows Machine (or Apple Mac) satellite program. The choices aren't as plentiful as the component peripheral, but if you aren't in the mood to fork out a bunch of dinars on hardware and installation then the satellite TV is the only option.
Costs range starting from $50 or more for choice level broadcast software. Once the program is installed then you are ready to start viewing satellite programs with your computer for free.
Visit FreeXMtuner.com, a site that displays a in depth arrangement of Windows Machine satellite programs applications that explains to you how to enjoy satellite programs with your Windows Machine.
How To Extend PSP Runtime Without Buying Another Battery
The test results are obvious. In hard performance test, the game is played on PSP for 3 hours and 32 minutes. In PSP WiFi test, PSP was battery dead after 2 hours and 46 minutes. In PSP MP3 test, it lasted for more than 10 hours, and in sleep mode, more than a day.
So we can draw our conclusion that WiFi connection drain power badly even more than games, and sleep mode hardly use power; in comparison, listen music can last quite a long time than most MP3 players. And how to extend PSP battery life according to this? 1.Use Wifi only necessarily required(in most times, turn it off) 2.Play less games, listen more music(if you prefer to) 3.Different games have different impact on battery life 4.Using sleep mode, off-screen as much as you can 5.Compared to the standard 1200mah battery, the old fat 1800mah battery is more advantageous
Mobile Entertainment
So what are these new technologies that everyone is talking about? Let’s start with the most common item, mobile phones. Through the years, it has drastically improved its capabilities to the smallest detail appropriate for different kinds of users. Thus, creating the new savvy term "Mobile Entertainment". The term has grown worldwide creating a different market. It simply projects the idea of being able to provide service without restrictions in terms of location. With the right technology, it makes virtually everything possible. Mobile phones have now adapted to the new era. To think, that the main purpose of a phone was to communicate from 2 different places without the idea of having to physically travel to converse. We have accomplished more than that. We have now reached a point that we don’t only communicate over the phone, our mobility has become versatile as well. To top it all of, we now have added features depending on ones customization, from sounds to games to internet. It doesn’t end there. We are simply just talking about mobile phones and haven’t even begun to enumerate the numerous technology released. Come to think of it, where does entertainment fit in? We need to look at the bigger picture here, mobile entertainment doesn’t have to be something you do virtually out of leisure time but something that you simply enjoy doing whatever time of day. It doesn’t limit your ability to enjoy wherever you are. So it may be the smallest thought of being able to send a message to a friend to watching a movie on your phone.
Another technology would be the portable notebooks. Also known as portable computers, where you can basically do anything. It has now even gone to the extent of communicating as if you’re using a phone thru VOIP(voice over internet protocol). That’s what you call real advancement and convenience as well as savings.
Let’s just work on the main thought here, Mobile Entertainment. This says it all. New technologies and inventions can be developed so mentioning these wouldn’t really be sufficed. Times have changed and as we evolve, so does technology. For information on Mobile entertainment, log on to www.mowave.com. See you there!
The Aussie Top Ten Ringtones
Marketers, as born keen opportunists, have jumped the bandwagon in communicating aggressively with this group and in ways that are more than merely successful in simply enticing them. They have made them brand loyal towards their products and services that are easily available over the internet. Several websites offering mobile phone ring tone downloads are continuously upgrading their list of latest offerings, and in their attempt to hype the mania even further, they have dedicated resources for scouring and listing the ‘Top 10 ring tones for the Week’ and so on and so forth; just to ensure that there is regular loyal traffic on their web page. However, due to the lack of a universal body governing the ring tone industry and non – availability of measuring tools to rate the popularity of ring tones on a global basis, it is difficult even for experts to make an all encompassing comprehensive list of ‘Top 10’ mobile phone ring tones for any region.
According to recent reports having come in this new year, Australia’s current hot favourites would include these for sure, apart from anything else that may have become a trend as well.
The absolutely adorable and true to its name, Snuggle Song by Cutie, is on the top of many lists and going by its popularity it’s a hot favourite video tone as well.
Leona Lewis’ Bleeding Love is another popular ring tone and video tone.
It was probably only natural for artist Timbaland’s Apologize featuring OneRepublic, to make its presence felt on the charts across websites. A definite hit with those that enjoy rap.
It’s definitely good to see Britney in the news for all the right reasons. And after all doesn’t an artiste always want his or her work to speak for itself. Spears’ Piece of Me has definitely been successful in grabbing a piece off the chartbusters pie.
Grammy award winner, Santana’s another composition, Into the Night, featuring Chad Kroeger, is doing well for itself on the lists too.
Alicia Keys croons No One, yet gets everyone to listen to her and want a ring tone of her composition.
Chris Brown featuring T- pain’s Kiss Kiss has kissed its competitors goodbye and made its way to the top of the lists.
Crank That by Soulja Boy Tell Em has gone down very well with the hip – hop and rock fans.
And this one may sound strange only if you don’t know what a wild life loving country Australia is. Ring tones of wild animals, pets, birds, and the famous Croc SNAP, have always had their ardent fan following.
Nickelback’s hitting it hard with Rockstar being downloaded as a monotone, polyphonic ring tone, and a real tone.
Essential Tips for a Great Podcast
Get into the habit of following the 5 steps below so that there'll be less time spent pulling your hair out and more time spent getting a great business podcast out into cyberspace.
Step 1 - Email participants and permission requests in advance.
You've decided to make a show about business owners where you want to interview people and use clips from other people's podcasts. If you want to record your show at the end of the week, really think about gathering permissions at the start of the week or else you might just come unstuck.
People are busy and their time is precious. Try to think ahead about who you would like to invite on to your show and get their permission way before you sit down to record. Always have back-up ideas too, just in case you just can't get to people in time.
Step 2 - Choose clips and interviewees before writing the scripts/planning your links.
If you want to use parts of the interviews or even pieces from other people's shows, it's always wise to know which clips you'll use before you write your notes or script. This means you can then write the script in a way that introduces what participants are going to say or you could comment on what they've said at the end of the clip.
Step 3 - Have a script.
Lots of would-be podcasters feel 100% confident that they know what they're going to say and intend to have a slick, fluff-free delivery. Well, you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men? It's a really good idea to have a script of some description so that your points follow a rational and well thought out process and your listeners get maximum value out of your podcast. You don't have to write a detailed script and then reel it off word for word if you think this will make you sound wooden (most non-professional broadcasters would have difficulty making it sound otherwise), it's more about knowing what you're going to say, knowing how your points are going to pan out and, if you have guests, having a few notes about them and the kind of questions you could ask them.
Imagine the pain of starting to introduce a guest and then completely forgetting their name. Having a script or some notes will prevent this from happening and make you feel relaxed, much in the way flash cards help you stay focussed during presentations.
Step 4 - Prepare yourself.
This may sound like an obvious preparation step but it's one that many neglect. Imagine getting up in the morning and everyone is out of the house; there's nobody to talk to. You go into your office or studio and switch your mic on, ready to record your podcast. You clear your throat a little and then start. How do you sound ? A bit like a zombie from Night of the Living Dead? So, what to do instead? Have a chat to the cat or sing in the shower to get the vocal chords loosened up and work the body out by carrying out some breathing and stretching exercises. Have a warm drink (but avoid milk as it clogs up the sinuses) and, last but not least, put a dab of lip balm on your lips (yes, it's so that they move smoothly over one another when you speak, reducing any unwanted noises).
Step 4 - Prepare your environment.
An essential element in making sure your podcast runs smoothly is to prepare your environment as well as you can. Turn off any phones that might disturb you, 'dampen' your room as much as you can (I know of someone who records under the desk with a blanket draped over it), make sure you have everything you need.
If possible, try not to time your recording to coincide your with the time the cats need feeding or your spouse will be home. Take care to ensure you will have as much peace as possible.
Sticking to these 5 pointers will really help you get your voice heard by the right people with the minimum of fuss and pain. For help with creating podcasts and other audio

How to Buy A HDD Player Online
If you're still clinging to your 20GB laptop or have just bought that cool ASUS EEE PC with less than 10GB hard disk capacity, you might need to purchase a HDD Player and a hard disk drive to upgrade the storage capacity.
HDD Players are small boxes big enough for one hard disk. Sitting outside the computer or a laptop, it has the capacity to read the hard disk in your computer. Connecting this gadget to the computer or laptop is really easy since it uses USB 2.0. Depending on your budget there are different types of players to choose from. The only common thing about these gadgets is that it connects to computers via USB and it can store files.
The basic form of HDD Players allows you to store files only. That's the most bareback of all products. Although some may come in fancy design, it's just another storage device. But there are those models that upgrade a hard disk to the next level. Instead of reading the contents of the hard disk, the player comes with complete connectors to your television. The result is, you have a media player that reads hard disks. Last but not the least is your ultimate mobile hard disk players. This type of player comes with a screen that lets you watch movies and even listen to music. Some sell this as a photobank, but it is much, much more.
With hundreds of HDD players on the market, finding the one that meets your needs can be a confusing and daunting experience. So we're here to help you simplify the process. Here are 4 tips for your buying a HDD Player:
1.Check the capacity of the player. Unfortunately, a HDD Media Player will always have a limit. Don't just buy something online if they do not indicate its capacity. Usually their capacity could be from 80GB up to 600GB or even more. The higher the price, the bigger its capacity.
2.Check the file format that the player support. Usually, a HDD Multimedia Player can support VCD, DVD, MPEG1/2/4, DIVX3.X-5.X, AVI, ASF, VOB, DAT, MP4, MPG, PEG, BMP, GIF and MP3.
3.If possible, purchase an player with a built-in hard disk - although this is rare, it certainly beats the trouble of inserting the hard disk inside your player. You don't even have to worry about format since usually they are already formatted to be read.
4.Compare the prices of different suppliers' offer, then get the player with multifunction but the lowest price.

Producing Photo-Realistic Icons
There are several issues to take care of when converting a picture into a Windows XP icon. An icon image file contains several versions of the same icon with varying sizes and resolutions, including some very small sizes such as 16 by 16 and 32 by 32 pixels, which bring a number of issues to creating desktop icons or XP icons from a digital photograph.
Various Resolutions
Each icon image contains a number of icons sized from 16x16 to 256x256 pixels. When creating an XP icon manually, you have to remember about the different sizes, and take care of each resolution if you want a fully compatible icon image.
Different Color Depths
Windows runs on a variety of computers with different displays and video cards that support various screen resolutions and can display different number of colors. According to the standard, each icon image must contain pictograms with 16 and 256 colors in addition to the 32-bit True Color format.
Translucent Icons
The True Color icons support semi-transparency with alpha mask, making the icons blend with their background to provide better visual experience to the user. Semi-transparency is a powerful tool for creating smooth, realistic icons with soft shadows and anti-aliased edges.
Icon File Format
The ICO file format is a complex container that keeps a number of images inside. All color depths and all resolutions are contained in a single ICO file. Unlike GIF icons, Windows XP icons are always supplied in the ICO format.
Icon Resizing Issues
The smallest icons come in 16x16 and 32x32 pixels. While the small size makes it easier to hand-draw an icon, the same matter of size makes it difficult to create a usable icon image out of a high-resolution photograph. Existing resizing methods fail miserably when it comes to sizes like these. In order to produce a good-looking XP icon, you have to use software that applies downsampling algorithms designed specifically for the small-size images.
Perfect Icon ( http://www.iconempire.com/perfect-icon/index.htm ) is a perfect icon editor for converting digital pictures into icons. It takes care of all the issues such as various sizes and color depths, and applies smart resizing algorithms to create perfectly-looking small icons from high-resolution photographs.
Camcorder To Dvd Video Editing
First off, if you have a DVD camcorder, you don't even have to connect a cable between camera and computer. Just remove the DVD from the drive on your camera and place into the optical drive on your computer. Of course then you will need a program which can extract (or "rip") the video data from the DVD. Many of these programs are available, such as STOIK, ISOBuster and DVD ripping is also a feature provided by some programs which can be used to burn DVDs, such as Nero's CD/DVD authoring suite. Note: the files on the disc that you're interested in are the .VOB files, which contain the actual video. You can safely disregard the rest of the files on the DVD.
Once you've gotten your data off of the DVD (or uploaded via cable), you're ready to do some camcorder to DVD video editing. Camcorder to DVD video editing software on the market (or internet, as the case may be). You're going to need to use some software to convert these .VOB files to .mpeg, a format which can be worked with by camcorder to DVD video editing software, then burned onto a DVD.
Once you have your video in .mpeg, there are many options for editing: MovieMaker or i Movie for Windows and MAC OS, respectively, well known software packages like Avid or it's "non-pro" version Pinnacle Studio, even Linux users can get in on the camcorder to DVD video editing game with CinePaint. Do a little research, evaluate your needs and then armed with that information, you'll have no trouble finding the right software for your video.

Use Laser Pointer Safely and Productively
Safety methods including:
1.Never point your laser at another person, especially their face.
2.Never under any circumstances look directly into the laser beam. Even if it is a low powered laser pointer, you don’t want to take chances with your eyes
3.Always be conscious of and aware of reflective surfaces such as mirrors, polished metal or glass. A reflected beam can also harm your eyes.
4.Only use laser pointers in a controlled environment
5.Do not let other people use your laser pointer unless they are fully aware of the dangers of laser pointers
6.Laser pointer beams can go for miles so never randomly use your laser pointer outside
7.When in doubt, use safety glasses.
Another good use of laser pointer is wireless laser presenter. Mostly, it is a kind of computer USB accessory mounted by a laser pointer and wirelessly connected to computer via RF or Bluetooth. Laser presenter offers a very nice alternative to remaining tethered to a PC while cranking through the PowerPoints. In fact, as the product name so ably illustrates, the laser presenter not only gives presenters the ability to walk away from the PC, it lets them highlight key information items an intense spot of bright light.

Their motor sport game is wildly popular and their list of games is getting larger and longer.
With its cutting-edge technology, the high-end Sony playstation-3`s larger hard drive and ability to play playstation-2 games makes it a worthwhile alternative to cheaper models.

Zune on the go
We are now able to carry our entire entertainment collections in our pocket. en fact the shear amount of information anyone of us can carry on a device like the zune is mind-boggling. We've come a long way from the days when cold war spy's risked their lives smuggling rolls of microfilm containing the entire contents of one A4 folder in their shoe heals in fact these days anyone of us can easily be walking around with a device the size of a shoe heel capable of holding a million volumes of the encyclopaedia Britannica.
The idea now of being able to escape my humdrum rail journey watching an entire season of Friends or listening to yesterday's radio casts is so enlightening. I'm at home with my feet up an entire weeks vacation ahead of me hang wait a minute the train is just pulling into the station just enough time to run for the bus. Never mind Ill watch an entire movie whilst sitting in the worst traffic jam London has seen for a decade and be blissfully unaware.

Guidelines to Create Mobile Site
Mobile blog or mobile site seems a perfect way, for instance, for a real estate agent to show new properties to clients. If agents have their own mobile blog, they can take pictures and immediately send them to the mobile blog.
A mobile web site varies from a regular web site. Mobile phones are less powerful and have a smaller screen than a computer. The Internet connection in a mobile phone is slower than that of computer.
People prefer to search the Internet through their mobile phones. For example, in UK, 20%of the mobile users surf the Internet on their mobile phones.
Tips To Create Mobile Site:
Users have to overcome various challenges when they decide to create a mobile site.
1. Use simple PHP commands to redirect mobile users to the mobile-friendly version of the web site. 2. Mobile web sites normally use X HTML basic and X HTML mobile profile as markup languages. They require certain syntax. For example, they do not allow tags and frames, unlike in HTML. 3. Use a XML header and DOCTYPE. Specify the character coding. These features show that the page is a mobile page. Otherwise, the page may be decoded incorrectly. 4. It is wise to use mobile specific XML to estimate download time and cost. 5. It is better to avoid rows and columns. If necessary, limit the columns to a minimum of two. 6. It takes longer time to load mobile pages. Hence, minimize the uses of images and size of pages, preferably less than 10KB. 7. Provide a link to almost all the pages.
Mobile Music:
Mobile music is the music, which users download and play in their mobile phones. Generally, people refer mobile music as ring tones. However, mobile music allows users to download audio files from their PCs. Mobile phone has a memory slot, where it is possible to store cell phone music. However, the new models include removable storage option.
DVD & Blu-ray Media: Thinking Ahead
If you are after making your movie collection artwork lasting, then DVD Blu-Ray media disc is the right one for you.
Blu-ray Disc
The DVD Blu-ray disc is an optical disc storage media format, which is developed and promoted by the Blur-ray Disc Association (a group of companies that represent computer hardware, consumer electronics, and motion picture production). The structure of the disc contains a unique reading formulation. It uses blue-violet laser for reading mechanism resulting for a shorter wavelength of 405 nm, roughly shorter than those of a standard DVD or CD (650 nm wavelength). The shorter the wavelength is, the bigger the data storage capacity. Also, the DVD Blu-ray disc both a 25 GB capacity (single layer) and 50 GB capacity (dual layer) and a wide range of usage.
Since the Blu-Ray disc's launched in 2007, its acceptance as DVD media replacement has significantly increased. Not only has it gained continuous support and patronage from individual consumers, but also from the world's largest movie producing companies and studios (e.g., Warner Brothers, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Walt Disney). The positives of Blu-ray had people believing, from an early stage, that it would be the future of high definition media.
Its Unique Recording Layer
Normally, the standard DVD would have a recording layer that is squeezed in between two 0.6 mm layers of polycarbonate plastic. The Blu-Ray Disc on the other hand, has a recording layer of 1.1-mm think plastic substrate and is secluded by a 0.1-mm thin cover layer. Because of this, better disc reading is achieved since the laser does not require traveling distantly to the point of focus. A 0.85 NA lens aperture manages to to hold greater capacity due to larger density which is more focused.85 NA lens aperture.
Tilt problems that are often associated with substrate stresses are also minimized. Consequently, such stresses occur during the production procedure, specifically while at the injection molding process. In these instances, the laser bean can be caused to split into two different segments. If the player overheats, then the system will stop reading any information from the disc.
Having the recording layer closer to the surface however causes some drawbacks. Unfortunately, this leaves the disc exposed to dust, unwanted fingerprint marks, and to some possible accidental abrasions or scratches. Developers created a special layer to cover the disc to effectively avoid any issues associated with scratches. This protective coat is made sufficiently hard to avoid any accidental abrasion or scratch. The protective coat also allows for the dust and fingerprints be removed by simply wiping them off the disc. Now this is definitely something you cannot do in a standard or regular DVD or CD media disc.
Choosing Wisely
Going for the Blu-ray media products may perhaps be the practical way of protecting your long-years of painstaking effort to accomplish adding and completing your movie collection. And a meticulous work as such must not allow resources, time, and effort to get wasted. Why invest on products specifically not worth your time and resources. Obviously, when you choose for Blu-ray media, you are actually giving yourself later rewards. You protect your movie collection artwork in the sense that they are highly protected and so quality of your collection will last for many years to come and for the next generations to appreciate.

Some hints and tips
Maybe your not sure what type or genre of game is made for you when it comes to online gaming, if that's the case then you should start out at more general online game websites. IGN and Gamespot are a couple that spring to mind when it comes to generic online game websites. You should visit those site if you need to read a review about a game. They will provide you with some basic information on the game you want to look in to. The review will give the game grades on graphics, game play, story and some more factors. Even gamers who have all ready chosen their favorite game come back to these sites to look up on other games or update or ad on packs for their own favorite game.
Once you have chosen your favorite game genre that you will be playing then you should start reading websites that specifically write about those types of games. When you are going to play MMO games the one site you should not forget to read is MMPORG.com, it's a very popular site that has articles specific to Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games, hence the name. Another great site is GameReplays.org where you can get the latest scoop on first person shooter games. They also have actual video footage of players playing shooters like Crysis or Call of Duty 4 but also real time strategy games. Gamefaqs.com is great if you need a walk through or other hints.
Before you start playing online you need to read up on the subject and on the game you will be playing online. You need to be sure that the money you pay for the game, 40 to 50 dollars, is a good investment. Reading up before you start playing online is a good thing to do. Start bookmarking those site and try some of the search engines to find some more sites related to your favorite topic. Even if you are becoming a veteran gamer you will keep coming back to some of these sites just to get the latest scoop on your favorite subject. Maybe you will even start your own website after a while.
Stock Icons: the Way Out of the US Crisis
Vibrant, colorful graphics and slick user interface help the users of computer even at the time of a crisis. There were many researches done on the topic of colors influencing the mood. While many users have never considered software tools they use every day as of something affecting their mood, in fact, colors affect every day of their lives. Colors change people's mood in many ways, with every color representing a certain psychological value. Colors make people feel better or get a headache, work longer and more productive or get tired sooner, stimulate or calm them down. Colors invoke excitement or make people irritated, provoke anger or enthusiasm, influence creativity and productivity.
As a software developer, it is your responsibility to carefully choose colors for your products. You don't want to become a reason of their suicide, do you?
Are you ready to become responsible? If not, think of contracting your graphics to a professional artist. With the prices skyrocketing and wages going over the top, how are you going to pay for your order? If you don't have an abundance of resources floating around and waiting to be spent on the graphics, just get yourself a set of stock icons.

Semi-Transparency Effect in XP and Vista Icons
Can you produce the same effect with icons that you design? Anyone can! The big question is: what tools are you going to use?
While Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw have been around for a while, buying and learning a heavyweight professional suite is overkill for an icon designer. Besides, these tools are really not meant to cope well with the needs of a small-arts designer. Let alone their inability to save more than a single format or resolution into an icon file, crafting Windows XP icons puts certain requirements that are simply not there with the big guys.
Making icon images requires close attention to every dot on the screen, as every pixel is extremely important considering that icons get as small as 16 by 16. On the other hand, you simply don't need 99% of the features that bloat the Adobe and Corel products. What use are color profiles, red-eye reduction and the various artificial color models such as LAB and CMYK for a Windows icon image? Do you really need all the artistic filters found in Photoshop that work great for high-resolution photographs but leave nothing but some sort of soup of a small icon image with counted pixels? Finally, are ready for the substantial investment of your time and money to learn the product and pay the bill?
There's really no need to pay hundreds of dollars for an image editor that you won't fully use. Drawing small object requires specific approach and highly specialized tools. You need an icon editor.
Icon editors come in various flavors. There are small simple tools such as Paint included with Windows, and there are tools designed to manage collections of desktop icons and do simple manipulations with them. Obviously, if you want to draw icons from a scratch, you need an icon editor that allows just that.
Icon XP ( http://www.aha-soft.com/iconxp/index.htm ) fits the bill as a near-perfect icon editor. While not nearly as huge and expensive as Adobe Photoshop or Corel Draw, Icon XP is no Microsoft Paint either. Aimed at professional and amateur icon artists and small-art designers, Icon XP has everything that is necessary to create great-looking icons with that modern slick flair.
Giving you an ability to save icon images as ICO, ICPR, BMP, JPEG, CUR, PNG, GIF, RC, XPM, XBM, WBMP and Adobe Photoshop PSD files image formats, Icon XP is well-suited for icon work. While not as complex as the big players, Icon XP is still a very capable icon editing tool. Gradients, transparency and semi-transparency support with alpha-channel allow making slick XP icons that blend into desktop. Design icons from a scratch, or touch-up existing images equally easy. Icon XP is a single fast, small, inexpensive icon editor that is easy to learn and to use by every professional and amateur icon designer.
How to Make a Podcast
The next step for people who want to know how to make a podcast is installing the software necessary to maintain the podcast. A small piece of coding called dircaster.php can be used to set up a basic level of podcast. Dircaster.php can be found easily by searching for it in any search engine. Once it is located, it should be edited to reflect the particulars of the domain and uploaded to the site. Dircaster.php will generate an RSS file, or feed, that tells the subscriber about the new files available for downloading. To begin podcasting, create the audio files that should be podcast, fill in the information about the file such as date, author, etc, and upload them to the same directory that contains dircaster.php. You now have a podcast, and all that is needed is to publicise the address of the file dircaster.php. To update the podcast with new information, just upload the new files. Other things to make the podcast better might be a site that contains information about the podcast, but it isn't necessary.

Prices You Should Pay For A Myspace Profile Design
What This Article Will Cover
This article will be about the prices of Myspace Profile Design. Some Graphic Designers will charge you a lot of cash for this and some will charge you too litte while some will be reasonable. You really do need to know about the prices of a Myspace Profile Design and so I have created this article for you lucky readers. This is based on my knowledge and is my personal opinions from working with clients, I have found clients are happy to pay more money if it means they get a good design and a reliable graphic designer. So many times have I seen Graphic Designers rip people off and those clients that got ripped off (not by me, by other designers) have came to me asking if I can help them with their current design which was created badly by the previous Graphic Designer, I don't like to deal with that because it is hard trying to edit a design created by someone else as everyone designs and codes different it is also not fair on the client.
Prices You Should Be Paying
The price you should be looking to pay for a Myspace Profile Design is no less than £150 and no more than £300. This is about $300 - $600 but that is just an estimate, check online or do the maths to work out the exact conversion rate.
How I know what you should be paying
I have worked with quite a lot of clients when it comes to Myspace, sometimes just updating, changing their Profile or fixing their Profile when things have gone wrong, sometimes making a complete profile for them. I have also spent a lot of time researching Myspace Profile Design and have also witnessed how long it can take to produce a design for a client. It is far worse than creating a website, due to you having to work around Myspace code, it can take a lot of time but in the end a website will usually take longer unless it is a small website. Myspace Profile Design can take from 3 hours and above, this is for a Myspace Profile Design that is designed professionally and uses a lot of graphic design skills, simple profiles and diy profile editors take a few minutes. The reason this can take so long is a) advanced myspace profile design can be time consumning and hard work depending on how myspace is that day, sometimes it is hell, sometimes it is not. b) the clients requirements and the amount of times they ask for something changed, not only does this take a while it can be frustrating as you and the client are not always online at the same time, you may live in the uk while they live in america, I usually get replies fast but sometimes it is hell trying to get in touch and you have to refer to messages and just wait for the reply which then takes a day or more which is why the time to complete the profile can seem like a long time.
Why You Should Be Paying This Much
You should be paying the prices mentioned for several reasons. The first and most important reason is to make sure you are not getting yourself into trouble, for instance, a cheap price might look good at first but trust me on this, "you get what you pay for" and sometimes you don't actually get anything, pay cheap, expect cheap. Cheap prices to me sugests bad designs and / or bad company / myspace designer. The reason I think that is simple, why would someone have cheap prices in a job that can take hours upon hours to complete, the myspace designer is the one who has to get in touch with the client, find the requirements, make changes, get in touch with the client to actually make the changes, the graphic designer does more than just design, there is actually more work outside of graphic design involved, any graphic designer who doesn't do the running about asking questions is usually a cheap graphic designer who wants to make some quick cash out of you and then get out of there as fast as possible. They do not want to look after their clients, they just want to make quick cash, get out fast and don't care about the clients requirements at all. No names mentioned, and other graphic designers may slate me for this article, others may not, they might know exactly what I am talking about, they might agree with my prices, they might not, I see some graphic designers charging way too much money but let's not get into a fight about this, if you do have any comments or complaints feel free to email me or message me on myspace at http://www.myspace.com/kinnerdesign but do not waste my time and leave childish, immature comments. These are my personal opinions from many years of research into the myspace and graphic design industry. I want YOU (mainly clients) to understand the reasons behind my prices, and the reasons behind the sugested prices above and why paying too little or too much can be a bad thing.
How To Find A Good Graphic Designer
This to me is simple but to others not so simple. My clients will usually have no clue about graphic design and will usually tell me to just design freely. One client said "your the designer, do your thing!" That is actually the hardest requirement to work to, it isn't a requirement it basically means I think, see if the client likes it, if not many hours wasted, if does then take it further and complete it. Although that method is fun I do not like it, but to strengthen it I ask them questions in ways I hope they understand, try to make it as straight forward as possible, no computer jargon. This is one way you can tell if you have a good graphic designer or not, good graphic designers will work with you, ask you lots of questions until they understand your requirements, they will then tell you what will happen and if you agree with the prices, the terms and conditions the graphic designer will begin work and show you samples at various stages of the design and if you like it they will take it further, if not they will change things and start a fresh design. Another to find a good graphic designer is again by the prices, if they appear to cheap to you, or if they are much cheaper than other graphic designers then this tells you one thing, be very careful, research a lot about them before working with them, in some cases they are good graphic designers with cheap prices but in most cases this is a no no in my opinion. Prices that are over the top are usually a) good designers who are not cheap and have the highest prices they can. b) out to rip you off and produce poor graphics while earning a lot of cash, YOUR CASH. These are the main methods of finding a good graphic designer, checking the background of the company, designer can also help, see how long they have been designing for, if they are a new company be careful. Talk to the graphic designer before ordering, say you are interested in some work but would like to investigate a bit first, or get to know the designer, investigate isn't a very friendly word, earn each others trust then get work from them if you must. Make sure they have a contact page and an about me page, if a graphic designer lacks these then to me that is a big put off. When you get replies from message or emails make sure (if email) that it is the email that you sent a message to. Also be sure to make sure they have a terms and conditions page, and a privacy policy. This is important, graphic designers will need to know some of your details, especially when sending a message to one, usually they will require your name and email, it is important for a graphic designer to explain how your information is used and it is important that they have terms and conditions, the client must understand that extra work will cost more money, how much they charge per hour if they require more work etc etc. Each terms and conditions of a graphic designer vary and they usually create them on their own so it is really IMPORTANT that you read and agree to the terms and conditions otherwise you could be paying out a lot of cash, if they do not have a terms and conditions or do not show you it at anytime, get away, do not work with them, you may end up paying a lot more than you thought you would. There is also one more thing to mention, some graphic designers do not show prices, this is usually a good thing, it usually means they treat each client different, and base the price on their requirements, meaning your paying for exactly what you want at a price suited only to you, here at Kinner Design I use base prices and then determine the workload and give you a set price of how much it will cost, kind of the same as this quote system the only difference is I give a base price so you have an estimate of how much it is going to cost, (the least that is, it could cost more, but I will never charge more than stated in this article for a design, it's that simple).
Further Help
Well if you read this far then your obviously concerned about which graphic designer to go with, let me end this by saying I hope this article helped clear a few things up, I have probably missed some things knowing my memory but right now I can not think of anything I have missed, if you need any more help then feel free to message me on myspace or email me, you can fill a form in at my contact page

3d Wallpaper Images
Many screen resolutions are proportional in a 4:3 ratio, so an image scaled to fit in a different-sized screen will still be the correct shape, although that scaling may impact quality. Common wallpaper resolutions are 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200.
Users with widescreen (16:9 or 16:10) monitors have different aspect ratio requirements for wallpaper, although images designed for standard (4:3) monitors can often be scaled or cropped to the correct shape without undue loss of quality.
Wallpapers are sometimes available in double-width versions (e.g. 2560×1024) for displaying on multi-monitor computers, where the image appears to fill two monitors.
Some display systems allow unconventionally-proportioned images (1:1, 2:1, or even 1:3) to be scaled without change of proportion, to fit the screen, whether it be 16:9 or 4:3. The image would be sized just large enough that one pair of edges touch the edges of the screen, but not all four, as this would unduly distort the image. In these cases, the system's "default" background color is visible around the other two sides of the image.
Another common option, particularly for images much smaller than the resolution of the display, is having the image displayed multiple times like a series of tiles. This avoids the distortion of scaling.
PNG and JPEG format are common. Some desktop systems, such as Mac OS (version 8.6 or later), KDE (version 3.4 or later), and GNOME, support vector wallpapers (PICT in Mac and SVG in KDE and GNOME). This has the advantage that a single file may be used for screens of any size, or stretched across several screens, without loss of quality.
Most display systems are capable of specifying a single colour to use as the background in place of a wallpaper, and some (such as KDE or GNOME) allow colour-gradients to be specified. Early versions of Mac OS and Microsoft Windows allowed for small repeating patterns to tile the desktop.
The first use of a distinguishable background in conjunction with overlapping windows was in an experimental office system, Officetalk, developed in 1975 at Xerox PARC on the Alto. Prior to that, the white backgrounds to overlapping windows (for example, in Smalltalk) could be difficult to distinguish from window interiors. The pattern used in Officetalk produced a 25% gray, using dots two pixels high to avoid flicker on the Alto's interlaced screen. The same pattern was adopted for the Xerox Star.
Apple used a similar gray background for their Lisa and Macintosh. However, since these machines had non-interlaced screens it was possible to use a less noticeable background pattern, formed from a simple 2x2 repeating pattern that gave a 50 percent gray. The introduction of color monitors for personal computers led to non-patterned, single-color backgrounds and then to arbitrary 'wallpapers'.
Wallpaper styles are as varied as people themselves, using photographs, drawings, 3D renders or abstract pattern with complex gradients. It can be useful to have plain areas so that icons can be clearly seen atop the wallpaper.
Typical categories can include cars, models and celebrities, scenery, abstract art, movies, pets, family, symmetry, and personal photos. In business use, corporate logos or plain backgrounds are often specified by the companies' guidelines.
When using rack mounted computers through a KVM switch, it can often be useful to create a wallpaper with the computer's name on it, to easily identify which computer the user is connected to. System themes are often distributed with a background image that fits the style of the theme.
Some operating environments (e.g. KDE and Mac OS X) allow a number of different wallpapers to be used, and "rotated" to display a different wallpaper at different times, to display a random image from a directory. If the facility is not available in the OS's wallpaper settings, it may be possible to get an external program which can change the wallpaper at certain times. Microsoft Windows 98 and higher allow webpages to be set as frames on the desktop which may be dynamic pages. Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate also has the ability to use a a video as a wallpaper. Users can choose to use their own home videos which loop continuously, or use one already installed.
Certain media players (mplayer) provide the option to output video to the background of X11, making them suitable as engine for animated backgrounds from a wide range of video formats. Programs such as Xplanet and EarthDesk use Internet connections and graphics calculations to change the wallpaper with real data, such as a shadowed view of the earth, the latest cloud or weather map, or various events. Some media players can redirect video playback to desktop, allowing any video to be used as a wallpaper. Macromedia/Adobe Flash animated movies and games can be set as a dynamic interactive background as well. To to that, simply point your desktop background settings to an html file with an embedded flash movie instead of an image.

Exciting features and facets of iPod Dock that add value to your iPod
If you happen to spend considerable time watching video on your tiny iPod, we are sure that you've also yearned to watch it on a full size screen when at home. You've also probably wished to listen to your iPod music through your funky Hi-Fi speakers instead of irritating earbuds. An iPod Dock grants you both the wishes!
An iPod Dock acts a practical solution to both of the above-mentioned problems you often face. You simply need to slot your iPod into it, and connect the Dock to your television and Hi-Fi. Once you do this, you are all set to enjoy your videos and music. You can do so by simply using the remote control to choose your favorite videos and music - comfortably seated in your armchair.
An iPod Dock is a multi-faceted instrument. Let's follow what more an iPod Dock can do for you: - It connects to your PC, so you can easily sync your MP3 files using iTunes. - You can use your iPod to hold your music/video collection, rather than having to use a DVD player and CD player. - It's much more convenient to see a video with friends if it's on a big screen, than if you're all crammed round a small sized iPod!
Based on their quality and performance, iPod Docks vary in price! But it all depends on your budget and exact requirements. Keeping in mind the fact that modern technology ensures optimum output even from the cheapest electronic goods, there seems to be no apparent advantage in paying over the odds for a Dock. You'll get pretty much the same audio & video quality either way. If you want, you may also purchase iPod Docks, with built in speakers. However, you will need to spend a lot of cash to get a good audio quality (especially bass) as you would from a normal Hi-Fi system, or even normal PC 2.1 speakers (with a subwoofer).
With some iPod Docks, you can connect the Dock to a speaker of your choice; Hi-Fi speakers obviously being the best bet. There are also good quality PC speakers available at a reasonable cost, which will give you adequate bass. Many iPod Docks, which come with smaller speakers, generate audio output that is similar to a pocket `tranny' (transistor radio), but you might get disappointed by it.
iPod Dock also recharges your iPod's battery even while it sits in the dock. This ensures that you never run out of power when on the move. If you keep your iPod in your Dock, rather than lying around, you are much less likely to forget where you kept it! iPod Docks generally come with a set of different sized iPod adaptors, so they'll fit most of the different iPod models that are on the market. In every sense, iPod Docks are very flexible and convenient to use!
5 Tips To Build An Affordable Video On Demand Website
Setting up a Video On Demand website requires a technical understanding of the streaming technology involved and having dealt with the old school ways of doing distribution, rest assured that a natural resistance towards technology will arise. Aspects such as streaming technology, content delivery network, media file encoding, encryption, digital rights management, payment solution, online royalty reporting, streaming costs (welcome to the world of megabytes and megabits) and different technical parts of the website - all this seems to turn your project into rocket science. Many have given up half way through. As a result, most companies entrusts specialist providers to lead the sophisticated task of providing streaming technology to their services. In this article, we list some important aspects of what to do in order cut costs.
1. Finding the right Streaming Provider
In order to run a highly sophisticated streaming website with full business integrity you will have to team up with a specialist streaming provider who operates a Content Delivery Network. This is, in short terms, server rack space combined with Windows Media Streaming software ensuring that your content is being delivered to the end consumer as well as hosting your content. If you do your research properly, you will realise a huge pricing difference in streaming and hosting costs offered by various providers. In addition, a lot of companies do charge set-up costs as well as insisting that you also use their media file encoding service which can come as a very high cost. Avoid this. In addition, the development and programming of the website and the connectors can turn into a very costly affair when leaving this to a streaming specialist provider. Parts of it are unavoidable; a lot can be done for much less costs if you are willing to source this in-house.
2. Media File Encoding
Speaking from experience in dealing with clients, the encoding of a media file seems to cause a great deal of confusion. If you are, for example, a medium sized film production/film distribution company eyeing the prospect of setting up a Video On Demand site, take control of the file conversation in-house. It is anything but rocket science. Depending on the volume of titles you wish to offer, all it needs is a few PCs, enough DVD drives and affordable software which enables you to convert your movies into any file you want at any bit rate you want plus the possibility to set scene selections plus much more. Supply your streaming provider with all files in the format requested and you can safe a lot of money.
Free Myspace Layouts VS Paid Myspace Layouts
What This Article Will Cover
This article will be about the differences between FREE Myspace Layouts and Paid Myspace Layouts. Yes I know your thinking hes obviously going to say Paid are better because it gives me money blaa blaa but it's not the reason why they are better, of course I gain from it by getting money but keep reading and you will find out why they benefit you to pay for one.
Benefits of a FREE Myspace Design
Ok the obvious benefit is that it is free, are there any more, hmm not really, I would say that they are usually easy to set up, but sometimes they are not, it depends where you go to get them free. Sometimes websites trick you and all they really do is steal your password to your account, be aware of websites like this, usually your best free Layouts are ones which let you do it by copy and pasting the code. Another benefit is your Myspace Layout can look better than the average Myspace Profile. This is true however eventually everyone is going to see it, think "Oh I like that" and then they will want that Myspace Design for their own and then you are no longer unique and you look the same as everyone else.
Benefits of a PAID Myspace Design
It can be custom made to your requirements. However you want it you can have it, work with a Myspace Designer and you will get the closest possible result you can get, unlike free layouts these paid for layouts are exactly how YOU want them.
It is unique to you, meaning no one else will ever have this Myspace Design and if they do then they have stolen the code, and took the time to figure out how, and find out where your images are stored etc, they will not be able to make it entirely their own and it will be a waste of time for them as you can tell it will of been stolen from you as most Custom Myspace Designs have the clients name included in the images.
You stand out for several reasons, the first one is because your Profile is Unique, no one elses Myspace Design will look like yours. It will be designed Professionally by a Myspace Designer, meaning you can expect a Professional Design suited only to your requirements.
And the Winner Is...
Actually there is no winner, it's all about opinions and the reason behind why you want a good looking Profile. For example if you are an individual, chances are you do not need to have a good looking Myspace Design, or need to stand out, unless you REALLY WANT TO which is where the opinion comes into it, some people want to and like to, some people don't. Then there is the reasons for wanting, essentially needing to look good and stand out. For example, if you are in a band / company or something that needs to stand out and be noticed then you will most definatly want to go with a PAID Myspace Profile Design.
It's your decision, and no one elses.
At the end of the day the only person who knows wether a FREE Myspace Layout or a PAID Myspace Layout is for them is themself, you know your requirements, you know what you want, some people just want one to look good and don't mind paying the price. Others NEED to look good.
